New Segment is One for the Foodies!

We’re debuting an exciting new show segment for Season 8, one guaranteed to whet your appetite! Called “Grape to Plate,” it features renowned chef Jason Berthold building a dish from just a couple of sips of a mystery wine.

With a notable resumé including such prestigious restaurants as The French Laundry in Napa Valley, Per Se in New York City, and RN74 in San Francisco where he was Executive Chef working alongside famed sommelier Rajat Parr, Jason also has a winemaking background with some of the top names in California, like Abe Schoener of Scholium Project.

Renaissance man? Yes! Uniquely positioned to come up with a stunning dish from any wine we pour him? Absolutely!

What’s more, each Grape to Plate segment includes a Practical Hack, a tip for the home chef from the pro Chef!

Grape to Plate takes you into the mind of a chef, and explores the mechanics of food and wine pairing…that’s a lot to chew on!
